PULSE - What is it?
newvista PULSE is a mobile phone based SMS/WAP survey methodology ideally suited to capture snap opinion on hot topics. Panellists are sent a question & their answer triggers the sending of the next question until the survey is complete. Each interview can be conducted within 5 minutes.
Panellists have been recruited from newvista and understand PULSE is a premium product only if it delivers quality data quickly- Simple short surveys
- Newsworthy results on breaking news events delivered within 4 hrs
- All based on panellists educated to provide thoughtful responses for generous rewards
- Over 11,000 newvista panellists are signed up to PULSE
- 1300+ businessvista panellists are signed up to PULSE
PULSE – What can it be used for?
- Nat Rep surveys on breaking news events
- SME B2B surveys
- Tech Savvy Surveys – attitudes of early adopters
- Omnibus – weekly
Use non-panel members for:
- Surveys using client’s lists
- Customer satisfaction
- Immediate feedback
PULSE – What sets it apart?
- Quite simply, it is the quickest and cheapest way of getting nationally representative results. Choose between sample sizes of 100, 250, 500 or 1000+
- From survey launch to delivery of data can be as little as 4 hrs
- Get your questions to us in the right format by noon and we will deliver tables before 5pm the same day
PULSE – Considerations when using it
- Has enough time elapsed to gather opinions on breaking news?
- PULSE surveys are restricted to 160 characters per question, including spaces and response options. Does the topic/event lend itself to this type of question?
- Surveys should be restricted to 10 topic questions including both single and multi-coded responses with routing kept to a minimum. Demographics are pre-supplied
- PULSE is a TECH savvy panel and therefore may not be ideal for general attitudinal surveys regarding technology.
- PULSE reflects the trend within society for those aged 65+ to use mobile phones less than younger age groups and to communicate via text/WAP less than other groups
- This means it is currently best to use a 55+ age group (instead of 65+) for demographic analysis
